Description
 Bronze horse from Attica,
 
from the so-called geometric period, the first epoch of Greek art, about 1,000 - 700 B. C., named after the predominant ornamental motifs of the painted vases. 
 
The patina of the bronze horse was caused by chemical oxidation.
 
Exhibit in the National Museum of Athens. Replica in original size.
